What is our P7 Programme?

Our Primary 7 programme is a transition programme that helps support young people in their final year at primary school and prepare them for high school. Our Youth Worker Stacey does loads of work within the local Primary Schools in order to give young people an understanding of what is expected of them in this next chapter of their lives, the truths and the myths about high school, visits to the chosen high school, Q&A's so that young people can ask freely about any worries or concerns they may have.

Stacey's visits to the schools are weekly, and there is loads of content designed to be fun and informative for the young people so that they are as prepared as they can be!

After the Easter Holidays, the Primary 7's will be invited to join our after school club, specially for them. The dates and times will be announced on our social media accounts in the upcoming weeks to the Easter break.

Our after school club is 1 day per week for 2 hours, it gives them an insight into what it is like to attend the youth complex. They will get to interact with various activities that we usually do in our nightly drop in service such as: Cooking, Sports, Workshops, Dance, Art and so much more. The after school club is also very beneficial for young people building bonds with not only others from different primary schools, but also our youth workers.
